Along The River is a series of photos taken during COVID quarantine in 2020. Luckily, during this rough time, I had the river as my backyard and it helped keep me afloat. These photos have served as catalyst for current projects and have influenced a colorful conversation with the environment.

Amidst the darkness, we seek motivation, a way to thrive. Light is the momentum of life, we feel it. Light charges us, and presents possibilities. Focusing on the positive, these captured moments narrate my excursions on kayak along the river. Discovering a world of symphonies within a world of chaos, the playfulness of these colors transcend us for a moment, into a lucid dream. From time to time, we must take a break from our woes and enjoy what is presented before our eyes. Covid, despite all the hurdles we've encountered has given us a blank platform to reevaluate our lives and shift our perceptions. These images do just that; enhance our perception of reality and afford us hope.
